Carter Eve, a Los Angeles jewelry designer, spared no attention to detail on the pieces she showcased at her wedding or the jewelry she and her husband flaunt each day to show their love for one another. This is her story and how she wound up customizing the Dylan solitaire engagement ring and other pieces for her big day.

How the Couple Met
She and her husband, Federico, met on a dating app back in 2019. It was then that he knew Carter was something special, as he deleted the dating app on their second date. Carter believes that it was “proof sometimes love finds you exactly when you’re meant to meet.”
The Wedding Details
Fast forward to 2025... she and Federico decided to tie the knot in Hollywood, where their love story first began. Both feeling a strong sense of connection with the Self-Realization Fellowship Temple, the two said their “I dos” there.

After, they jumped into an old-school 1968 Mustang and headed down the Pacific Coast Highway toward Malibu, where they and their 35 friends and family members celebrated their special day with an oceanside dinner. It was almost something out of a movie.

The joyous occasion didn’t end at that, though. It was a two-day-long celebration at Casa di Pietra, with their nearest and dearest spending time laughing, loving, and enjoying one another’s company with the couple. Both Federico and Carter stated they made memories that they’ll cherish forever.

The Story Behind the Wedding Planning + The Jewelry
As the founder of Carter Eve Jewelry, she had industry experience that prepped her for wedding planning. She understood the local wedding vendor community and had a keen eye for detail. She felt that working with the vendors was more like “curating art with friends,” friends who, of course, shared her aesthetic value and who she cherished and admired their creativity.

She felt that taking on the wedding planning gave it more personal meaning. While she was used to crafting pieces for her clients, this was an opportunity to do the same for her own wedding. She felt it truly made the day more special since she was able to create meaningful pieces for her own wedding.

Carter created the couple’s wedding bands, climber earrings, and a gold pin for Federico to wear on his boutonniere.
What Makes Each Piece Unique
When a designer takes the time and thought to create pieces for her own wedding, you know the end result is carefully crafted jewelry that reflects the light at just the right angle and captures the true essence of undying love.

Whether you’re curious just how distinctive and remarkable pieces a professional jeweler would make for her and the love of her life, have followed her for a while, or are looking for inspiration for your own wedding jewelry and bands, this overview of each piece, complete with links, may spark some ideas or at least satisfy your curiosity.
Elodie Diamond Necklace
As the perfect blend of spark and shine with a delicate, timeless silhouette, the Elodie Diamond Necklace features diamond clusters that shimmer brilliantly. In between are round brilliant diamonds to add depth and variation. Combined, the weight of these diamonds is 1.8 carats.
While the original was set in 14k yellow gold, Carter has this necklace available in white and rose gold, too. Overall, the appearance of this necklace is feminine and elegant with just enough luster and allure to draw attention to the wearer’s neck effortlessly.
Elodie Diamond Ear Climbers
Bold, romantic, and the right amount of luster, the Elodie Diamond Ear Climbers follow the contour of the ear from the lobe up, accenting the arc of the ear well. While Carter paired these with a necklace, they can also stand alone.
Carter’s earrings for her wedding were set in 14k gold, but they’re available in white and rose gold as well. The total weight of the diamonds is 3.1 carats.
Round Pave Diamond Eternity Band
As an eternal symbol of commitment and devotion, the Round Pave Diamond Eternity Band has refinement but is statement-making. With G-color round diamonds set around the band, this ring radiates from practically every angle. Each diamond is 2.6mm for the ideal contrast of gleam and precious metal. While it’s Carter’s wedding band, it could easily mark an anniversary.
The original ring is solid 14k yellow gold, but it’s also available in white and rose gold through Carter’s shop.
Faceted Wedding Band
The Faceted Wedding Band is a unique wedding band, but Carter designed it for the man of her dreams. It consists of hand-carved facets in solid gold. It uses the lost-wax technique, a common one in the jewelry world that consists of creating a wax model of the piece first, complete with all the textures and details that the jeweler will fill with the desired metal.
Carter added a special detail in the ring she made for her hubby — a ruby in one of the facets. If you’d select this one, you can create your own variations as well. In fact, all of the jewelry Carter creates is customizable. It’s offered in white, yellow, and rose gold, though the one she crafted for her husband is yellow gold.

Dylan Solitaire Engagement Ring
Bold and modern, with a sleek appearance, was the goal Carter had in mind when designing this piece of her commitment. With a three-carat, radiant-cut diamond in the center, it gleams exceptionally and with a classic appearance.
Set in 14k gold, the Dylan Solitaire Engagement Ring also has an underhalo of diamonds to add depth and more sheen, complementing the center stone brilliantly. Though Carter’s was yellow gold, the ring is available through her shop in white and rose gold as well.
Selecting all the features of your wedding jewelry makes the occasion even more special, as demonstrated by Carter. However, you don’t have to be a designer to personalize the accents you choose. And the pieces available are highly customizable when you choose a jeweler who handcrafts pieces.
