Jewelry Care Tips
Caring for your fine jewelry is essential to maintaining its beauty and longevity.
1. Wear With Care
Our fine jewelry pieces are handmade with precious materials and are delicate. It's recommended to take off your jewelry when doing physical activities or even doing household chores. Rigorous activities can cause scratches or damage.
2. Avoid Chemicals
Remove your jewelry before using household cleaning products, hairspray, perfumes, or lotions. The chemicals in these products can tarnish metals and dull gemstones. It's always best to apply your beauty products and lotions first, then put on your jewelry afterward.
3. Store Properly
When you're not wearing your jewelry, store it in a soft lined jewelry box with individual compartments to prevent scratches.
4. Remove Before Showering + Sleeping
Removing your fine jewelry before sleeping and showering helps protect it from damage and ensures your pieces stay in top condition and last longer. While you sleep, jewelry can get scratched or bent, and in the shower, soaps, shampoos and water can dull metals and stones.
5. Clean Your Jewelry Regularly
Clean your fine jewelry at home with a gentle solution of warm water and dish soap and clean delicately with a toothrush. Bring your jewelry in for a professional steam cleaning every 6-12 months if you don't feel comfortable cleaning your jewelry at home.
6. Keep Jewelry Safe From Children
Avoid letting children pull on chains or necklaces, as this can weaken the clasp or damage the delicate links. Jewelry can easily break or become bent under the force, especially fine pieces, so it's best to keep it out of reach to prevent accidents and preserve its integrity.
