Carter's design journey began at Parsons School of Design, where she studied Design Management, followed by earning her B.F.A. in Jewelry + Objects from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She further honed her craft in Jewelry + Metalsmithing at the graduate department of the Rhode Island School of Design.
Originally from the Connecticut countryside, Carter spent much of her childhood outdoors, collecting arrowheads, garnets, and mica—earthly treasures that ignited her passion for jewelry. Her work reflects this deep connection to nature, alongside her classical training as a goldsmith and designer. With meticulous attention to detail and a refined design sensibility, Carter's collections range from everyday fine jewelry to unique custom pieces and engagement rings.
